OUR

STORY

Welcome to Steve’s Stable.  What I created on Facebook was for all intents and purposes, a page where I could update and accommodate the growing interest in Yacht Club.  She was and still is the “Flagship and Reason” why the stable was created in the first place.

What started out as a little bit of fun quickly became a bad obsession which almost sent me bankrupt with over 30 horses, so I changed direction and attitude to keep the dream alive and I practically sold the lot except for a few half decent ones and went into breeding, breeding to race.

That change of attitude and the guard saw a stunning colt by Rubick born.  You know him as Mr Mosaic, and he is simply the prince of the stable. The Face was the next born a year later. We lost Yachties' first foal to Rubick to snake bite, Crazy was sent back to Rubick and had a stunning filly who will be heading to the breakers in a matter of weeks. The stable purchased an unraced 2yo colt by Scissor Kick that available shares sold out in 2 hours and a yearling colt by Starcraft. The latest addition for now is a foal by Mikki Isle Filly from Crazy Quality

Right now, the stable is going from strength to strength, with a strong hand of horses on the ground already racing or about to race and with 2 more additions to come later this year as Crazy Quality is in foal to Sooboog and Yacht Club is in foal to Harry Angel.

I love racing, the sheer thrill and exhilaration of watching your horse run and race. We usually sell between 25%- 40% of shares (in 5% - 10% lots) in our horses at what we consider fair and equitable prices. We have made some great friends through racing Mr Mosaic, The Face, Kicking Off, All The Wine and Final Flame to name a few.  The more the merrier I say

Giddy Up and let's go racing
